Details of our tables

Our tables are handcrafted on a high-density MDF board core, chosen for its dimensional stability and excellent structural performance.
We also ensure that our suppliers hold PEFC and FSC certifications , which guarantees that the wood comes from responsibly managed forests.
Because we believe that quality also begins at the source of the materials, and that designing with awareness is part of doing things right .

We apply a complete 10-layer microcement system , consisting of:

• Flexible fiberglass mesh , applied to the support before the rest of the system, which reinforces the structure and improves the cohesion of all subsequent layers.

• 1 coat of primer , which ensures extraordinary fixation of the system to the support.

• 2 layers of base microcement , which provide body, thickness and mechanical resistance.

• 2 layers of fine-finish microcement , which define the texture, color and final aesthetics.

• 4 layers of protective sealing , which provide great resistance to scratching, daily use and changes in temperature and humidity, in addition to facilitating cleaning and maintenance.

This multi-layer system, applied entirely by hand in our workshop, guarantees a robust, waterproof, highly durable and easy-to-maintain piece , ideal for both residential and professional use.

In models with cylindrical legs, we use a high-strength PVC internal structure , designed to provide stability, great robustness and durability without compromising aesthetics.

These bases are integrated and reinforced with the multi-layer microcement system applied to the table, offering a solid and visually balanced set , capable of easily supporting the weight of the tabletop and daily use.

Weight and robustness

Each Honara Homes table is a sturdy and structurally stable piece, with a weight that reflects our philosophy: durable, honest designs built to stand the test of time .

As a guide, a 200 x 100 cm dining table weighs approximately 100 kg , which is equivalent to approximately 50 kg/m² , including the MDF structure, base and the complete microcement system.

This weight is no coincidence: it guarantees solidity, stability, and a powerful presence in any space. We don't make lightweight, disposable pieces. We make furniture with a purpose.
